We are excited about starting an association for disabled golfers in the United States. Several other countries already have organizations for disabled golfers which organize clinics and provide events for disabled people of all types to compete in the game of golf.
Our founder, Jason Faircloth, was the first American to golf in the British Disabled Open. He has played in the open for the last few years. After having such a wonderful experience overseas, Faircloth decided that it was about time the United States had such an event and he founded the USDGA to do just that!
“Based on the number of Americans with disabilities, the number of golf courses we have in this country, and the popularity of the sport of golf, there is no way we cannot successfully organize competitions across the United States.” – Jason Faircloth, Founder
